in the week three our group discuss about Coherent Homodyne.

A method of extracting information encoded as modulation of the phase and/or frequency of an oscillating signal, by comparing that signal with a standard oscillation that would be identical to the signal if it carried null information.

in the week two our group discuss about Acousto-optic modulator (AOM),

Acousto-Optic devices are used in laser equipment for electronic control of the intensity and position of the laser beam. In this note, Acousto-optic interaction occurs in all optical mediums when an acoustic wave and a laser beam are present in the medium.

in the week one our group discuss about WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing ) 

In fiber-optic communications, wavelength-division multiplexing (WDM) is a technology which multiplexes a number of optical carrier signals onto a single optical fiber by using different wavelengths (i.e., colors) of laser light. This technique enables bidirectional communications over one strand of fiber, as well as multiplication of capacity.
